We intend to again produce a Hamper similar to last year’s and are inviting all members to donate suitable items. The draw will take place during the Coffee Morning on Wednesday 6th December; the items will therefore be required not later than Wednesday 29th November so that the hamper may be produced; plus additional baskets as last year, if a surplus of items are donated.

Price includes Coach travel from Highbridge to Liverpool and return, Half Board ensuite accommodation and Coach day trips.

Llandudno holiday 5th to 9th September.

We have a last minute cancellation on the above holiday.

The cost is £250.00 to include – Coach travel, half board, live entertainment, Sea View single room.

The coach will depart at 9am on the 5th September and will arrive back approx 5pm on the 9th September.

On Saturday 28^th October there is a trip to the Weston-super-Mare Playhouse to see the show: –

“Half a Sixpence”

The coach will leave the Highbridge Community Hall at 1.00 p.m. for the matinee show at 2.30 p.m.

This year’s cream tea outing is at the Bleadon Post Office Country Store and Cafe in Bleadon on Thursday 27th July 2017 at 3.30pm.

The price is £4.50 and is payable to Janet Preddy.

We have now sourced the similar holiday for 9th or 23rd April 2018 through Majestic starting from £230.00 per person if we get 38 to £260.00 per person for 28. At present we are wanting to know numbers that will be interested before making a booking, so would appreciate if you could let us know asap if you would like to go.

As well as the holidays already booked for Eastbourne in February and Bournemouth in September 2018, full details already announced, we are considering running a trip to Liverpool from the 21st to 25th April.

We would be staying at the Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool and would cost £349.00 per person. There would be no supplements and we could have 6 Single, 6 double and 8 Twin rooms. It will be on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis. Buffet breakfast and evening meal plus tea or coffee.

Also included Entrance cost to see the Terracotta Warriors. Return Coach Travel from Highbridge. 4 nights half board in Hotel and excursions. We will need to fill the 34 places to make this viable. Please let Brenda 01278 787963 or Diane 01278 781009 know asap if you would be interested.

We can only have 8 single rooms so it has been decided to take the names of everyone interested in booking a single room. A draw will then take place at the Coffee Morning on Wednesday 31st May. This is being done to guarantee fairness for the allocation of single rooms available.

Normal Booking will commence from 31st May with payment of a £50 deposit.

The Total Cost of the holiday is £120.00 per person. There is a single supplement of £10.00 per person. Sea View rooms will also have a £10.00 per person supplement.
